Main objective

The primary objective of this study is to assess the proportion of schizophrenic patients and the proportion of bipolar patients who discontinued olanzapine within 12 months of treatment in outpatient, ambulatory or community settings.

Inclusion criteria

Patients aged 18 years and older,
- suffering from bipolar disorders or schizophrenic disorders according to DSM-IV criteria,
- initiating or having initiated a treatment via olanzapine in tablet or orodispersible form.

ATLANTIS - Long term observational study on the therapeutic management of knee osteoarthritis by general practitioners

Main objective

Evaluate, in general practice, the change in the first-line therapeutic strategy in patients suffering from knee osteoarthritis, over one year, specially:
- Evaluate the percentage of patients treated with each therapeutic modality at the end of the one year observation period.
- Describe the modifications implemented in the therapeutic management and identify the reasons justifying these modifications.

Inclusion criteria

1. Males or females 50 years or older suffering from symptomatic osteoarthritis of the knee
2. Not treated over the last 6 months for this pathology (non-pharmaceutical treatments and self-medication by analgesics or NSAIDs at low doses will be allowed).
3. For whom the physician will have decided to initiate a first-line treatment in line with the recommendations of EULAR 2000-2003 (paracetamol - systematically taken at a dose of 3 to 4g/d - as pharmacological monotherapy in combination with non-pharmaceutical treatments).

ANRS CO2 SEROCO/HEMOCO - Multicentric Cohort of HIV Positive Patients

Main objective

General objective: to investigate spontaneous HIV disease progression and the treatment response of haemophiliac (HEMOCO) or non-haemophiliac (SEROCO) subjects. The prognostic role of markers, in particular CD4, HIV-RNA and HIV-DNA.

Inclusion criteria

SEROCCO: Seropositive HIV-1 patients (ELISA test confirmed by Western blot) with known date of contamination or whose HIV status is less than a year old (period between first positive sample date and the date the patient is enrolled in survey) and who do not have AIDS at baseline; attending physicians from centres participating in the survey; who are 18 years old or over and have given their informed consent.
HEMOCO: HIV-seropositive haemophiliacs (ELISA test confirmed by Western blot); attending physicians from centres participating in the survey, who are 3 years old and over and have given their informed consent. Consent is signed by the parties with parental authority of dependent minors or by the legal guardians of minors under tutelage.
